Older Detailed AQS Data
Older files from the mainframe version of AQS follow a different format described in the raw data conversion card image (10 pp, 56K, About PDF ) file. This format is noticeably different from the format currently in use.
No updates were made to any of these data files after December 2001.
It is suggested that for any data from 1994 to the present be pulled from the Download Detailed Data page.
A file containing records of site information for the criteria pollutants (ZIP, 2939K) during the period 1971 - 2000 is also available. (The criteria pollutants at that time were: 11101, 12128, 42101, 42401, 42602, 44201, 81102, 88101.) This text file has been zipped. The unzipped file follows the format in Site Description Inventory description-Mainframe version (3 pp, 17K, About PDF) file.
All data files are zipped to conserve disk space. Refer to our " Tools" page if you need assistance with file types.
